Campus Tours: Campus tours run six days/week, excluding certain days throughout the year. Please check the tour schedule and book your tour!

Spring 2019

Spring Academic Open Houses: Our Spring Academic Open Houses take place on May 14 -17, 2019. These are full day, program-specific events for students who have received an offer of admission to the University of Guelph. Each day is specific to a degree program or grouping of programs and consists of program information sessions, sample lectures, and tours of residences, the library, the Athletics Centre and more! Registration is now live!

Fall 2019

Ontario Universities' Fair: The Ontario Universities' Fair is held in Toronto in late Septemeber. Join the University of Guelph and Ontario's 20 other universities at this 3 day event at Toronto's Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The OUF gives you an opportunity to speak with representatives about programs, campus life, finances, and anything else that will help you in your decision of choosing a university.

Register for an OUF Passport

An easy and fast way to share your contact information with the universities that you're interested in. Save time and register in advance, so you can start looking at university booths as soon as you get to the fair! 

  • Register online, with your name and email address.
  • Confirm your email address.
  • You will be sent a personalized OUF Passport with a barcode.
  • Bring your Passport to the OUF with you, on your smart phone or as a paper printout.
  • If you would like further information from a university at OUF, just scan your Passport at their booth. The university will then be able to contact you directly.

Fall Preview Day: Join us in Fall of 2019 and find out why our students are among Canada's most satisfied! Visit our campus, meet with faculty, staff and students and learn more about what Guelph has to offer. This full day program offers walking tours of campus, academic and student life displays, and information sessions on residence, co-operative education, admission and finance.

Science and Engineering Sunday: Join us in Fall of 2019 and experience for yourself Canada's #1 university for research dollars. Visit our campus, meet with students, staff and faculty from different areas of science and engineering at Guelph. The day includes a resource fair, many open labs and facilities, campus walking tours, and self-guided residence tours.

Winter 2020

National Receptions: Out-of-province applicants and admitted students in selected cities across Canada are invited to attend an informal reception to learn more about living and learning at the University of Guelph.

Campus Day: This full day Open House took place on Sunday, March 24. It included campus tours, residence tours, academic information sessions, and the opportunity to speak one-on-one with current students, staff and faculty. Registration and event details for Campus Day 2020 will be available Winter 2020! 

March Break Tours: Let our University of Guelph Student Ambassadors guide you on a 2-hour campus tour including residences, lecture halls, dining halls, athletic facilities, the library, and more! Meet with a University of Guelph Liaison Officer to have all your questions answered before or after your tour. Tours during the March Break will leave from Peter Clark Hall (basement of the University Centre). Additional parking is available in lot P13 at a flat rate of $5.00. Look for the campus tour signs and our Ambassadors in bright yellow shirts will guide you!

Spring 2020

Interaction: A Conference for University-bound Grade 10 and 11 students taking place on April 24 and 25, 2019. Explore the University of Guelph community and learn more about our academic disciplines and student services. From The Life Aquatic - The Hagen AqualabTearing up the Beat: Analyzing Hip Hop, or Views from Above: Using Drones to Study the World Around You, your choices are varied. Registration is required ($30 fee per student) and includes lunch. Registration will open in Spring 2020.
