Out-of-province applicants and admitted students in selected cities across Canada are invited to attend an informal reception to learn more about living and learning at the University of Guelph.
This full day open house includes campus, residence and facility tours, academic information sessions, and the opportunity to speak one-on-one with current students, faculty, and staff. Registration and event details will be available January 2020.
March Break Tours
Let our University of Guelph Student Ambassadors guide you on a 2-hour campus tour including residences, lecture halls, dining halls, athletic facilities, the library, and more! Meet with a University of Guelph Liaison Officer to have all your questions answered before or after your tour. Tours during the March Break will leave from Peter Clark Hall (basement of the University Centre). Additional parking is available in lot P13 at a flat rate of $5.00. Look for the campus tour signs and our Ambassadors in bright yellow shirts will guide you!
A Conference for University-bound grade 10 and 11 students taking place April 2020. Explore the University of Guelph community and learn more about our academic disciplines and student services. From The Life Aquatic - The Hagen Aqualab, Tearing up the Beat: Analyzing Hip Hop, or Views from Above: Using Drones to Study the World Around You, your choices are varied. Registration is required ($30 fee per student) and includes lunch. Registration will open in Spring 2020.
Spring Academic Open Houses
Our Spring Academic Open Houses are for students who have received an offer of admission to the University of Guelph. Each day is specific to a degree program or grouping of programs and consists of program information sessions, sample lectures, and tours of residences, the library, the athletics centre and more!
Ontario Universities' Fair
The Ontario Universities' Fair is held in Toronto from September 27- 29. Join the University of Guelph and Ontario's 20 other universities at this 3-day event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The OUF gives you an opportunity to speak with representatives about programs, campus life, finances, and anything else that will help you in your decision of choosing a university.

Register for an OUF Passport
Save time and register for your OUF Passport in advance, so you can start looking at university booths as soon as you get to the fair!
- Register online, with your name and email address.
- Confirm your email address.
- You will be sent a personalized OUF Passport with a barcode.
- Bring your Passport to the OUF with you, on your smart phone or as a paper printout.
- If you would like further information from a university at OUF, just scan your Passport at their booth. The university will then be able to contact you directly.
