President's and Chancellors' Scholarships

Every year 12 of Canada's best and brightest future leaders are awarded one of Guelph's top scholarships! Worth $42,000 each, the following scholarships recognize academic excellence and leadership.

The President's Scholarship recognizes students entering with a minimum of 90% admission average who have made significant leadership contributions to their schools and communities.

Chancellors' Scholarships are in honour of our current and past University Chancellors. They recognize students entering with a minimum 90% admission average who have made significant leadership contributions to their schools and communities, and have demonstrated an interest in arts and culture, or international relations and development.

The Lincoln Alexander Scholarships recognizes students entering with a minimum of 90% admission average who have made significant leadership contributions to their school and/or communities. In addition, students must be Aboriginal; or a person with a disability; or a member of a racial minority.

Each scholarship is worth $42,000 (including one $9,600 stipend for summer research assistantship). The Research Assistantship provides you with research experience while working with faculty. Learn about students and their research assistantship experiences here.
