Arts and Business Double Feature
Add business expertise to your arts degree! With a minor from the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics you can pair your major with a business-focused minor to enhance your career skillset with courses focusing on communication, problem-solving and leadership!
The B.A. Building is Being Renovated
As a BA student you will have most of your classes in the MacKinnon building which is in the heart of the campus. If that wasn’t good enough, MacKinnon is now undergoing a $20 million renovation which will rejuvenate the North wing of the building and add the ImprovLab.
New Apprenticeship Program
The Guelph Arts Apprenticeship Program (GAAP) started up in November 2019 and focuses on helping new graduates get job experience to jump start their careers.
We Have Award Winning Faculty
In September 2019, two of our College of the Arts professors were named Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada, which is Canada's highest academic honour. Christine Bold is a professor in School of English and Theatre Studies and Barbara Morrongiello is a professor in the Department of Psychology.
