Courses blend scientific study with hands-on learning, field trips and a co-op workterm. You’ll also use the lab facilities of the University, including the Guelph Turfgrass Institute . Leave with in-demand skills and a network of turf professionals, employers and mentors.

Note: Admission is determined by a combination of your academic average and faculty evaluation of the required Background Information Form (BIF).

Transfer Opportunities: You can transfer from DTM to a degree program at the University of Guelph if you have a cumulative average of 75% or higher.  You may qualify for advanced standing.

Background Information Form (BIF) 

Applicants must submit a Background Information Form (BIF) as part of their application to the Associate Diploma in Turfgrass Management program. The BIF becomes available in December and the recommended submission deadline is February 17, 2023.  Applications and documents received after this date will be considered as space allows. 

Estimated Cutoff Ranges 

Admission is determined through a combination of academic grades and the Background Information Form (BIF).  Your admission average of 60% or higher will be calculated using Grade 12 or equivalent (4U, 4M or 4C courses only), and the BIF.
