Turfgrass Management is a dynamic and growing sector. This two year Diploma will help launch you career in the golf course management, municipal parks operations, sod production or related supply and service industries. Graduates are in high demand and currently working in Canada, the United States, Asia and Europe. 

The University of Guelph is home to Canada's premier turfgrass management program. Combine practical and scientific study with hands-on learning, field trips and a summer work semester. 

Work where others play. This program utilizes the collaborative resources of the Guelph Turfgrass institute, including Guelph faculty, industry professionals, and the grounds, workshop and laboratory facilities of the Institute. Practical and scientific study is combined with a required summer work semester to provide you with a wide range of industry experience and knowledge. Our hands-on approach to learning prepares you to be a knowledgeable, self-reliant and competitive contributor to the growing turfgrass industry.

Application Note: Admission is determined by a combination of your academic average and faculty evaluation of the required Supplemental Information Form (SIF).

Transfer Opportunities: Transfer opportunities are available to Turfgrass Management Diploma students with a cumulative average of 70% or higher. You may qualify for acceptance into a degree program with advanced standing.
