Chat with a current U of G student

In addition to our academic programs, which include 85 majors and 50+ minors, U of G students have access to co-operative education, over 1,000 experiential learning opportunities, study abroad programs, more than 200 student clubs and so much more.

Don't just take our word for it, chat one-on-one with a current student and hear about their U of G experience first-hand.

Follow these 4 steps to chat with a U of G student:

1. Select a U of G Buddy (student ambassador)
2. Select "Create Your Account"
3. Complete your quick profile
4. Adjust your “communication preferences” under “settings”
Note: Currently, this service only supports undergraduate inquiries from domestic (Canadian) applicants. If you are an international applicant, please check out our International Unibuddy webpage.

If you are interested in our graduate programs (masters and PhD), please visit the Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies website or email

Response Time: Please note that this service is not a live chat. Our Unibuddy student ambassadors and staff will aim to respond within 24 hours. Please avoid sending the same messages to multiple profiles at the same time.
