How to Apply

OUAC 105 Online Application Form

Use the 105 Online Application Form if you are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada, or an International Applicant who is currently studying in Canada on a Study Permit or other visa.

Those who should use the 105 Online Application Form are not limited to, but include: 

  • all Ontario candidates (except those who are currently enrolled full-time in an Ontario Secondary School day program)
  • adult and mature students registered in night school, correspondence programs and special adult day school programs
  • all candidates from other Canadian provinces or territories or international students (including those who are attending secondary or post-secondary institutions)
  • university and college transfer students
  • International transfer students applying to more than one Ontario university

Program Amendments

If you wish to change your choice of program after you have submitted your online application, please use the "Account" option via the OUAC website to amend your application. Please ensure all changes are made by the appropriate application deadline.

Associate Diploma in Turfgrass Management

The Turfgrass Background Information Form is required for all applicants to the Associate Diploma in Turfgrass Management program. Forms and other required documents received after February 15th will be considered, space permitting.

December June 1 - for transfer students

Bachelor of Landscape Architecture

The BLA Background Information Form (BIF) is required for all applicants to the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Program.

December May 1 for Transfer Students

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

The DVM Background Information Form is required for all applicants to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.

Bachelor of Engineering

Engineering Personal Letter: In order to assist the School of Engineering Admissions Committee in selecting the most qualified applicants, you are encouraged to submit a letter about yourself. The committee is most interested in your background and motivation in studying engineering.

Personal Support Letter

Transfer applicants who have factors beyond their control that have negatively affected their academic performance, such as illness or personal circumstances, are encouraged to submit a support letter. Support letters can be submitted through the OUAC 105 Document Upload or e-mailed directly to Admission Services at applicant@uoguelph.ca.

Students with Disabilities

Supplemental Information Form for Students with Disabilities (SIF-D)

The University of Guelph strives to provide equal opportunity for academically qualified students with disabilities. If you believe that your admission average does not reflect your true academic ability as a result of a disability, you are encouraged to complete the Supplemental Information Form for Students with Disabilities. The online form is made available in November, 2020. This form is considered along with your marks in determining admission. You are encouraged to contact Student Accessibility Services as early as possible to discuss your needs and academic background.

Student Accessibility Services helps students overcome any barriers that could impede full participation in the University community. The deadline for submission of the SIF-D for Fall 2020 admission consideration is May 1, 2021.
