Our Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) program will teach you the necessary skills and provide opportunities for hands-on experience that will allow you to stand out in the industry.

Here are some interesting facts about the BLA program:

It’s fully Accredited

The BLA program at the University of Guelph is the only accredited undergraduate Landscape Architecture program in Canada. This means our students can go on to apply for entry into professional associations of landscape architects across Canada, North America, and abroad!

Get Involved

The University of Guelph is home to the Landscape Architecture Student Society (LASS) which is one of most active chapters in North America. You can join LASS and work with your peers to plan unique Landscape Architecture events and activities that will only further enhance your learning and socialization!

Strong Community

Students in the BLA degree have a great sense of community on campus. This is true with not only the students, but also the professors and staff. Your professors want to see you succeed and will offer opportunities to build your skills and network throughout the degree.

See the World

The University of Guelph’s BLA degree is partnered with 20 universities around the world which opens an abundance of experiential learning opportunities. Third year BLA students get the choice to either study abroad or complete a semester of open electives here at the U of G. If you choose to travel abroad, you will be able to explore and learn about how Landscape Architecture looks different all over the world!
