Our Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences (B.Sc.(Env.)) program was built specifically for students who have a passion for the environment and want to get a career that will make a positive impact on the Earth’s health.

Right from the start of the program, our students are given opportunities to learn from lab and field work. This hands-on approach ensures graduates from the program have the tools and experience they need to be successful in their future Environmental careers.

Make a Difference

Environmental health has become more important as research and studies have found more current problems that require creative solutions. We have incredible professors who are dedicated to research in areas such as plant biology, soil science, agroforestry, climate change biology and so much more. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from them and research with the, during your B.Sc.(Env.) degree, which will ensure you are on the front lines of improving life.

With an abundance of experiential learning opportunities around the world, this program will allow you to learn about Environmental Science while traveling! You can explore the different environmental problems countries around the Earth have while doing a field course or while studying abroad.

With four different majors (Ecology, Environmental Economics and Policy, Environment and Resource Management and Environmental Sciences) to choose from you can make sure you are studying exactly what you are interested in.

Students Love the Program

B.Sc.(Env.) students will be ready to address diverse problems such as pollinator conservation, soil and water conservation, greenhouse gas mitigation, plant disease management, and chemical movement in the environment.
