Community College-Minimum Requirements for Consideration
The University welcomes applications from college students who have completed a minimum of one year of study in appropriate two and three year community college programs. Minimum admission requirements vary by program (see below). In addition to presenting the minimum cumulative average from post-secondary studies, applicants must also present the required high school prerequisites, or equivalents
Transfer Credits: Transfer credits are assessed upon admission and are typically outlined in an offer letter. Normally, applicants who have completed a two year college diploma can receive up to 5.0 credits (1 year), while applicants who have completed a three year college diploma program can receive up to 10.0 credits (2 years). Transfer credits will vary depending on the degree program and specialization you have been admitted into.
Note: Admission averages listed below are based on the University of Guelph grading system. We will evaluate other grading systems on an individual basis upon receipt of an official transcript
University Minimum Requirements for Consideration
University transfer students are considered for all undergraduate programs. If you have completed a minimum of 2.0 credits (one semester) of study in a degree program, you will be considered for admission to all entry points within available programs. Those with less than 2.0 completed credits are typically considered for Fall entry only. Minimum admission requirements vary by program (see below). In addition to presenting the minimum cumulative average from post-secondary studies, applicants must also present the required high school prerequisites, or equivalents.

Transfer credits will vary depending on the degree program and specialization you have been admitted into.
