Admission Requirements

APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED: Students applying to Fall 2020 may apply until May 1 and submit supporting documents by May 15, 2020. International applicants applying from high school/secondary school may apply for the Fall entry point, which begins in September.

The University of Guelph will treat courses completed previously through Summer School, Night School, or Correspondence in the same manner as those completed through day school; they will be counted equally in determining your admission average.

The University of Guelph will be using the highest grade reported for any repeated courses.

International Admission Requirements

The secondary school graduation certificate which would admit a student to an internationally recognized university in his or her home country is normally acceptable for admission to the University of Guelph. Please Note: possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission or scholarships.
