March Open House Schedule

*Don't forget to pick up your printed day program from our info stations across campus to start your day with us.

General Sessions

• Campus Tours (10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM, 2:30PM) - Experience the highlights of campus on a 1-hour guided tour led by a current U of G student. Tours depart from the Mitchell Gym.
• Residence Drop In Tours (11AM - 3PM) - Visit our residences and explore a variety of room and building options
• Resource Fair, Event Centre (10AM - 2:30PM) - Get your questions answered! Speak with professors and students from our programs and student services. 

Information Sessions

Learn more about your program(s) of interest and our award-winning student services. Sessions are 30min in length and offered at various times throughout the day. 

Facility Tours and Drop-ins:

Computing Building Drop-In Tours (Meet in Reynolds Building Foyer)

Tour the Reynolds Building with a current Computing student and visit a typical classroom, computer lab and communal study spaces.

Guided Music and Theatre Studies tours (Arts Research Centre)

Engineering Self-Guided Drop-In (Thornbrough Building)

• 12:00pm-1:30pm

Lang Business Open House (Macdonald Hall)

• 11:30am-1:30pm

Summerlee Science Complex, MacNaughton Building, Food Science, Human Anatomy and Bovey Greenhouse Open House (Various labs and locations)

Landscape Architecture Studio Drop-Ins (Landscape Architecture Building)

• 11:00am-1:00pm

Equine Management Tours (Equine Sports Medicine and Reproduction Centre, 50 McGilvary Street)

• 11:30am, 12:00pm, 12:30pm, 1:00pm
• Meet at the location above OR meet a guide leaving from the Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management booth in the Guelph Gryphon Athletic Centre at 11:20am, 11:50am, 12:20pm, and 12:50pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Directions & Parking 

Driving directions to the U of G can be found on our website. We recommend parking in lots P14 and P15. Parking is free on weekends. Additional information about parking can be found in your registration confirmation email.

Ontario Veterinary College (OVC)

The Ontario Veterinary College does not offer tours during March Open House. To book a tour of OVC, please visit their website.

Covid-19 Updates

The University of Guelph has paused its mask requirement, with masks no longer required indoors or outdoors at U of G facilities. While no longer required, you are still welcome and encouraged to wear a mask while visiting campus.

With the evolving nature of the pandemic, we may see the return of additional public health measures, and with short notice.
