Combine physical geography and field research with computer-aided spatial analysis (e.g., geographic information systems; aerial and satellite image analysis) to study the natural and human-induced forces that are shaping our planet. You will be equipped to assess and address the impacts of natural hazards on society such as flood-plain mapping and emergency management, human impacts on environment (e.g., water pollution and watershed management); and how natural systems are changing due to climate change (e.g., mapping of invasive species).
