Why Environmental Governance?
Be at the leading edge of the shift towards environmental governance, in which governments, community organizations and businesses work collaboratively to address pressing environmental issues like climate change, sea level rise and invasive species.
The skills you acquire throughout the Environmental Governance program will give you a solid foundation in the processes and mechanisms of environmental governance in order to effect positive environmental change in Canada and around the world.
Students in the Environmental Governance EGOV program may also be interested in studying Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics, International Development Studies, Geography, Environmental Biology, Political Science, Environmental Management, or other majors.

Gain Valuable Experience Through Co-op
The Co-op program in Environmental Governance is a five-year program including four work terms, providing opportunities to work with a wide variety of employers. Co-op is designed to facilitate the transition of students from academic studies to a professional career improving students' job search skills, work performance and networking abilities and boosting resume experience.
