Admission Requirements

You must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 - 3.9/ 4.0 (varies by program/major) from a regionally accredited high school.

In response to the pandemic, University of Guelph is going SAT/ACT optional for the Fall 2022 admission cycle. We will consider the results (if submitted), if they benefit the student and make their application stronger however students who do not submit a score will not be penalized.

We are looking for prerequisite courses at the senior level and they should include specific subjects that are required for admission to your degree program and major of choice. Your school profile with grading scale should be included with documents, and all sent through Parchment/Naviance/Docufide whenever possible, or emailed directly by the school to intdocs@uoguelph.ca

Possessing the minimum requirement does not guarantee admission.

If you wish to include a Personal Statement, please use our Student Profile Form.
