You must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 - 3.9/ 4.0 (varies by program/major) from a regionally accredited high school.
In response to the pandemic, University of Guelph is going SAT/ACT optional for the Fall 2022 admission cycle. We will consider the results (if submitted), if they benefit the student and make their application stronger however students who do not submit a score will not be penalized.
We are looking for prerequisite courses at the senior level and they should include specific subjects that are required for admission to your degree program and major of choice. Your school profile with grading scale should be included with documents, and all sent through Parchment/Naviance/Docufide whenever possible, or emailed directly by the school to intdocs@uoguelph.ca.

Advanced Placement (AP)
If you have completed Advanced Placement Final Examinations with a minimum grade of 4, you will be eligible to receive university specific transfer credits, where applicable, to a maximum of 2.00 credits. You may request a change to unspecified credit on an individual basis within the first 30 days of your first semester.
Please arrange for an official score report to be sent directly to Admission Services. Transfer credit will be assigned once this has been received in Admission Services.

Applying to U of G
Students should ensure that senior year final grades from first semester and second semester interim grades, along with grades 9-11, are submitted by the March 1 document deadline date (or February 1 for early consideration).
While we may continue to accept applications and documents after the deadline, we cannot guarantee availability of space in programs or scholarships. Offers of admission will be made on a rolling basis as files become complete whenever possible.
