Acceptable Courses Alberta
General Requirement: High School Diploma + 5 Grade 12 academic courses numbered 30 or 31 with a weight of 5 (including required courses for the program you’ve applied to).
- Courses must be five credits each. The University of Guelph does not substitute two 3.0 credit courses for 5.0 credit course.
- AP and IB courses are acceptable, in addition to French immersion equivalents of the courses listed below.
- In instances where provincial exams are written, the better of the two grades (in-class vs. final blended grade) is used to determine your admission average.
